Here's to another work week coming to a close. Let's celebrate with some friday props! It's a mixed bag edition, so here's a bunch of things I found interesting. This Parody. I'm always a fan of a well done cover song. There's something to be said for the community created by sharing and appropriating music. So when I stumbled upon the series AV Undercover I had to give it props. Each series they draft a list of songs to be performed, then bring in artists who have to perform one of the songs from the list. The results are pretty spectacular. It's astounding how quickly a week goes by, but it's mind blowing how many cool ideas are dreamt up in such a short time. So here's to dreamers and their dreams. It's Friday Props: The Dreamy Dreamscapes Edition. I'll start off with some space props, because who doesn't dream of space? It's another week of Friday Props, another week of cool findings big and small. Immensely large and incomprehensibly tiny, here's what I've found. First up is this music video created by artist collective Strange Freedom. It's composed from thousands of microscopic stills time lapsed into a variety of abstract forms. It's Friday. It's Props day. Here's some cool stuff. Google I/O is on right now, and GoPro showed up in force. On the heels of yesterday's announcement that they would be launching their own line of quadcoptor drones, GoPro has revealed a new camera rig to pair with Google's "Jump" VR system. The 16 camera monster allows for filming of a completely immersive, virtual reality environment in full 4k quality.
