It's Friday, which means Friday Props. This week, I'm giving in to wanderlust and bringing you the places edition of Friday Props. First up is this collection of abandoned greenhouses I found via Messy Nessy Chic, a blog by Paris based lifestyle blogger Vanessa. Self descirbed as "a different kind of lifestyle blog written from Paris about off-beat culture, unique people and all things chic with a pinch of humor and a spoonful of nostalgia", the site contains a slew of cool findings, with a heavy focus on life as a Parisian.
Next up to receive props this week is a short film entitled "Nepal Times", which gives a fast paced look at many of the facets of life in Nepal. Some crisp visuals to an electronic soundtrack give the film a vibrant energy, to match the lifestyle the film is capturing. Check it out below.
My Third and final props of the week goes to an interactive film by Chris Milk. The project is creates a music video for Arcade Fire's "The Wilderness Downtown" using the address that you grew up at as a base. The experimental video opens as a collection of pop up videos that cleverly relate to each other and rearrange as the movie plays through. Some of the windows contain video footage created using google maps and the entered address to make the experience a little more personal. Check out the example below or head over to the site to make your own.
