Perhaps it is fitting that it's taken us eighteen years to run across the Museum of Endangered Sounds. A site dedicated to forgotten sounds from the past deserves a mention well into its' future lest it, too, be forgotten.
The museum of Endangered Sounds is a collection of audio clips (with some fun graphics, too) that either baffles you or brings you back to some point in your life whem the technologies that made these sounds were a part of your every day life. From typewriters and television snow to the sweet, sweet dial-up symphony of squelches and beeps we used to live with.
Props going out to Brendan Chilcutt for this collection created in 2001. Thanks for the memories!
