This week we give Friday Props to an artist who creates hyper-realistic drawings. They are so realistic, in fact, that we thought they were photographs.
Rafael Konishi is an artist in São Paulo, Brazil. He had been drawing since childhood, but did not approach hyper-realism until 2013. It's astounding to think that these are drawings to begin with, but when you consider his tools are limited to paper, pencil and eraser it it mind-boggling that anyone should have such skill and talent.
He draws not only still life images, but portraits as well.
