At Cafe 239-20 in Hongdae, Seoul, South Korea you can be forgiven for thinking you've entered an alternate 2D reality, because the proprietors of the cafe have made it that way - it's not your fault.

Props going out for the super imaginative and bold interior decoration of this small cafe in Seoul. Enter the space and you might think you've been teleported to the inside of a comic book with ink-drawing surrounding you. It's a fascinating, fun and defnitely clever design. I suspect the business does well by it judging from the number of check-ins on Facebook and how many people end up posting photographs.

It goes beyond just the interior, though. They've expanded to the rooftop and the items they serve are often presented on plates and in cups that further the 2D sensation.Crazy!

Cynthia and I have already decided that should we ever travel to Seoul we will take our own photos here because I have to know what's on top of that coffee mug ....
