Please, sir? Might I have some more Props? I'm so very hungry. I'm sorry. I'm getting out the props out late today due to foreseen circumstances and my lack of advanced preparations. In short, I procrastinated and you suffered. I hope you've eaten your lunch. Because of this lateness, I'm going to go a bit Helter Skelter. There is no unified theme of Props. Besides, I think that everyone is tired of Props partisanship and we should all work together for a Props that will appeal to the masses, to everyone, not just the people who like Props on technology and silliness. Onward! Let's bring the props forward! Taking a quick step back to our Friday Props on transportation, I would venture to say that we all enjoy a bit of travel, a very presumptuous stance to be sure. And we all probably know SOMEONE who has made their trip all the more quaint by photographing a lawn gnome, a friend's prized possession or a walrus in random foreign locales. In my opinion, however, this set of photos is better than all of those rolled together (except for the walrus). Mr. Jeff Friesen traveled with a train. Specifically, he brought the train with him, set it up and photographed it, capturing stunning photographs but, more importantly, bending our minds by altering the scale of focus. I highly recommend visiting his website to view the larger portfolio.

Laying Down the Rails Where There Were None Before   Onto something completely different, yet not entirely unrelated....yesterday, November 15th back in the awesome year of 1971, Intel released its first microchip. How does this relate in any way to the cool train photographs? I forgot to celebrate this anniversary yesterday and post it on our Facebook page, that's how. Without getting into specifics on how wimpy this microchip is now compared to your smart phone nor how infinitely more powerful it was compared to the first computers, suffice to say that this chip represented a huge technological break through in computing.

Now onto number 3. The number three is special. Three is the magic number. It is the number thou shalt count and the number thou shalt count shall be three. Still, I can't think of anything more cooler than fireballs falling from the sky. Its November, its cold and I'm guessing that most of the people who are reading this, including you, will be asleep before Letterman comes on, BUT.....if you stay up late and think fireballs are cool, tonight is the peak of the annual Leonid meteor shower. This one is unpredictable....some year it dazzles. Other years, its a dud. No one can say for sure how it will be this year, but break out your list of wishes, my friends and go look for those shooting stars. Here's your map of where to look, campers.
